Harvest time! We’re in the middle of the summer and everything is at it’s peak. We really noticing the days are getting shorter, and although it’s nice to be out and about, I’m starting to look forward to the shorter days. My garden is a joy this year, for the first time, it’s under control, and some plants truly blossomed!!! I love the contrasting colors and the fun of seeing plants and shrubs finally reaching a more mature state. Yes, it’s still a battle with the weeds, but it’s working out better this year.
This time I have wonderful news about “The Magical Tarot Deck” the Madigan Chronicles #2. It was a GOLDEN AWARD recipient of the July Literary Titan awards. It was a FINALIST in the Adult Book category of the Readers’ Choice Book Awards. And it was a 2nd place WINNER in the category Urban Fantasy of the 2nd quarter FIREBIRD Book Awards.
Currently still plugging along at book 4, I find the nitty gritty the hardest part of writing. Nevertheless, it’s part of it. Still doing the best I can to make it before the end of the year, but not sure if we’ll make that.
