"The Taste of Summer"

Every year in the summer I can't wait for the Heirloom Tomatoes to be ripe. Their unique flavor embodies summer for me. This Bruschetta is always a hit. Healthy, easy to make and super tasty.


Here's the recipe:


2 Heirloom Tomatoes

2 cloves of Garlic

10 Basil Leaves

Grind of Salt

Generous grind of Pepper

1/2 tsp of Sambal Oelek

1/4 cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/8 cup Balsamic Vinegar

Cut the tomatoes, the garlic, and the basil leaves and mix them in a small bowl. Grind some pepper and salt over it. Add the sambal, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar, mix again.

2  Put in a serving bowl, cover it up and put it in the fridge for at least an hour.

3  Serve with a baguette.
